What time should I arrive at the St. Francis Hotel shuttle pickup on the wedding day?
As the shuttle will depart from the Westin St. Francis Hotel in Downtown San Francisco (Union Square) at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 19, we encourage guests to be present at the pickup location around 2:45pm.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 1, 2026.
Can my kids come?
This is a child-free event. We love your little ones but we want you to have the night off!
Is there an after party?
Yes! For those interested in continuing the party after the reception, join us a few steps away at the pool house and poolside patio for additional late night fun.
The after party is optional and a shuttle will transport guests not attending the after party back to San Francisco. A later round of shuttles back to San Francisco is available for guests who do decide to stay for the after party.
is the wedding outdoors or indoors?
Weather-permitting, the entirety of this wedding will occur outdoors.
Will the entire wedding take place at the same venue?
Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party will all be at the same property.
WHAT IS THE weather LIKE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA IN SEPTEMBER?
September in the Bay Area offers temperatures ranging from 60s to high-70s. We will have more clarity the closer we get to our wedding date.
How do I get to and from the wedding venue?
If you are staying at the St. Francis, a shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotel.
Given the wedding is taking place at a private residence in the San Mateo Park / Hillsborough neighborhood, parking is free and available, and valet service will be provided. However, if you are not planning on using the shuttle service, we encourage utilizing rideshare services if possible! If you are staying at the Marriott, it is only a 10-15 minute Uber ride to the venue.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
There will be an option to provide any dietary restrictions when you submit your RSVP.
Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
The bridesmaids will be wearing various shades of green, but that should not deter you from wearing green! Please wear whatever you feel most beautiful in - even if that means matching the bridesmaids!
Which hotel should I book?
The Westin St. Francis is more centrally located in Union Square, San Francisco, and offers easier access to activities in the city. The shuttle ride to the venue is 30 minutes; however, it is only a 10 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the welcome party venue.
The Airport Marriott is available for guests who prefer to stay closer to the venue and/or San Francisco International Airport; however, note it is not within walking distance of local activities and is 30 minutes away from the welcome party venue. The shuttle will not pick up or drop off at this hotel. If you do not have a preference for staying closer to the venue or airport, we encourage staying at the St. Francis so you can experience more of what San Francisco has to offer!
How should I travel to and from the Friday Night Welcome Party?
Transportation will not be provided to and from the Friday night Welcome Party.
If you are staying at The Westin St. Francis, the Welcome Party is a 15 minute walk from the hotel, or a 10 minute drive.
Does the dress code require tuxedos?
Yes. This is a black tie event, so guests who will be wearing suits should plan on wearing tuxes.
Does the dress code require floor-length gowns?
Since much of the event will take place on grass, dresses need not graze the floor. However, given this is a black tie event, dress hemlines should at least reach your ankles.
Are rideshare options available around the wedding venue?
Yes! The San Francisco Bay Area is the birthplace of Uber. Though we cannot guarantee how long the wait time will be, Ubers/Lyfts are available in the San Mateo Park / Hillsborough neighborhood.
Will there be food at the Friday night welcome party?
The Friday night welcome party will offer drinks and only light bites, so we encourage guests to have an early dinner prior to festivities.
Can I take my own pictures during the wedding ceremony?
We have hired fabulous photographers and videographers, and request that guests do not use cell phones or take photos during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to do so before and after the ceremony!
What is the address of the wedding venue?
The address of the venue is provided on your mailed invitation. Given it is a private residence, it is not posted online. We encourage saving the venue address in your phone when you receive your paper invitation.
